Gauge: motif diameter: 3 5/16 inches

Row 1: Ch 12, Join with sl st to form ring. Row 2: Ch3, 23 dc in the ring.  Join with sl st to the third ch of ch3 crocheted at the beginning of this row Row 3: Ch5, *skip one dc of previous row, dc, ch3.  Repeat from * 10 times. Join with sl st to the third Ch of ch5 crocheted at the beginning of this row

  1. change yarn color here, continue crocheting from the same point Crochet 12 flower petals (see diagram above)
  2. Ch7, Hdc in third Ch from hook, 2 hdc, 2 dc, join to the flower center with sl st (on dc of previous row).  Repeat from * 11 times

Cut off yarn
Some flowers will be crocheted with blue center and brown petals and the others with brown center and blue petals, look at the assembly diagram to know what color to use to crochet  every flower.

With each color, make 4 twisted cords (2 blue and 2 brown) as follows. For each cord use 2 strands of yarn 13 ft long.
Twisted Cord: Tie one end of the strands around center of a pencil or knitting needle; fasten other end to secure hook or post. Pull the strands taut and twist in one direction until the cord begins to kink. Fold in half, allowing the cord to twist on itself. tie both ends securely

Join one cord of each color to the top:

lining:
cut fabric in triangle shape (according to the top measurements, triangle has to be ½ inche larger than triangle formed by the flowers), make a hem (1/4 inch) to the triangle sew the lining to the crochet top
