Santa Claus Hanger

MATERIALS:

6 rubber bands (1/4 " thick)

2 pairs of plastic eyes

1 sleighbell

2 white pompoms

red, green, white and light pink yarn (medium thickness)

RINGS

Crochet 6 rings as follows:

(make 3 red rings with white edge and 3 green rings with white edge)

Row 1: Crochet dc inside a rubber band until it is covered, join with sl st to the stich at the starting point

Row 2: with white yarn, crochet sc all around until you get to the starting point, join with sl st

fasten off

SANTA'S FACE (make 2)

With light pink yarn:

Ch 3, join with sl st to form a ring

8 dc crocheted inside the ring

continue working with white yarn 14 dcs more inside the ring, join with sl st to the first dc made at the starting point (the one made with pink yarn)

make 2 rows of sc with white yarn all around, fasten off

With red yarn, starting at side, where the part crocheted in pink begins, make 10 dc, turn

make another row of dc with red yarn, fasten off

glue 2 eyes to the pink section and a small circle made out of red fabric (santa's nose)

Attach a white pompom to santa´s hat, at the side

STRIP

With white yarn: ch 60

Join with sl st to the 10 ch from hook to form a ring

sc on each st until the end of the strip

With red yarn crochet an edge of sc all around the strip

insert the strip between the circles as shown in figure A

Attach the sleighbell to the bottom of the strip (the end that doesn't have a ring) and attach the two santa's faces to points 1 and 2 shown on figure B
